at the risk
At the risk of alienating all twelve people who read this blog, am I the only one that just doesn’t care for Bjork? All the music blogs are posting about her SNL appearance and whatnot. I fast-forwarded through it [thanks to the DVR]. I wouldn’t listen to her music if it was given to me as a present (actually happened).
I hate to be negative or sound ornery, but am I the only one not taking crazy pills?

I had some totally random dude come up to me with his laptop in this internet cafe in Texas and basically force me to listen, using his headphones (ahh, hello OCD!), to some Bjork. I can’t actually remember the last time I was that uncomfortable. And I will never be able to explain what about my quietly typing away on my own laptop, with my own headphones, made him think it was a good idea to subject me to that.
He then pulled the CD out and told me to burn it onto my computer. I told him I couldn’t. I didn’t want that scary stuff on my machine. He said, while facing me and my computer, “just open windows media player.” “I can’t, I run mac.” “Oh, that’s a mac?” “Yeah, that’s what that glowing apple means.” Then he left.
Despite his charming coaxing, I am still not a Bjork fan.
