Patrick Wolf The Magic Position This is suddenly the wunderkind. The album is eclectic and interesting, but, in the end, hit-or-miss. But you can judge for yourself.
Dntel’s new album, Dumb Luck has guest stars out the wazoo (Grizzly Bear, Conor Oberst, Jenny Lewis, Lali Puna), but my favorite track is the slow, dark and awesome Mia Doi Todd-vocaled track “Rock My Boat.” Perhaps it would be better to start with a less dramatic song, though.
