Saturday blog link round-up
Matthew Barnhart appears to have been the live sound engineer for John Vanderslice’s last tour with St. Vincent. He has some interesting things to say on his blog about various JV tour experiences and, well, various other things.
That Truncheon Thing has Yankee Hotel Foxtrot demos. Some are just earlier mixes and some are pretty different than the album tracks.
It’s Hard to Find a Friend (which is worth reading anyway) has an interesting interview from back in February with Chris Walla, covering his current projects, solo album and various DCfC stuff. Caleb conducts a good interview there (and here with David Bazan and…). HtFaF is generally a worthwhile read. (Time to update the “blogroll”, I know…)
Daytrotter has an interesting interview with former Beulah frontman (and former SF resident) Miles Kurosky.
