Daytrotter’s at it again, bringing us some great sessions. David Bazan’s interview (including why he signed to Barsuk) and session are great. The Long Winters one is too.
[Update:] Speaking of Bazan, Cameraphonic has audio from that Bazan show I went to a couple weeks back. The audio quality’s good but the strict stereo separation makes it sound almost weird. “Secret of the Easy Yoke”, which they also have video of is a winner.
[Another update] Here’s “Secret of the Easy Yoke” but in mono (without weird hard panning) and normalized a bit. (I’m mostly putting it here because it wouldn’t let me put the flash player in the comments.)
The world’s largest instrument is in the Macy’s in Philly, who’s spending a good chunk of change to keep it going. (via mefi)
I recently (re)discoverd this extensive profile of Sufjan Stevens in an old Harp magazine. It’s pretty interesting.
The Bay Area (of course) has one of eleven 7-11’s that’s been transformed into a Kwik-E-Mart. I’m going to buy a pink donut and a squishee.

Glad you enjoy the videos. The audio sounds weird since that was the direct soundboard feed. It was separated into Vocals/Music=Left/Right.
Thanks for the tip on the Kwik-E-Mart, I am going to try and head out there this week sometime!!

Aaron, you could bring it into Audacity or something and force it to mono or probably figure out a way to pan those to channels as you wanted.
For example, see the update in the post for “Secret of the Easy Yoke”.
