Oakland band and every prime-time-show soundtracker Rogue Wave (myspace) has a new album coming out on Sept 11th on Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records. Chris Walla seems to think it’s good.

Mp3s are starting to pop up.

Spin has “Lake Michigan”.

Stereogum has “Chicago x 12″.

Of the two, I like “Lame Michigan” better. From the sounds of these two tracks the new album is a reasonable extrapolation from the last two, Descended like Vultures and Out of the Shadow.
