that’s disappointing: Warner buys insound

I’ve shown some purchasing preference for insound for a while. They have a good selection and often decent prices so I’d often go there first and end up buying stuff from them. They also weren’t a giant corporation and they even had 15%-25% off deals occasionally.

Brooklyn Vegan is reporting that 95% Warner-owned Alternative Distribution Alliance has bought the internet indie music retailer and “lifestyle store.”

I guess in the world of mainstreamification of indie rock, stuff like this is bound to happen. I still have Aquarius at least.
