Possibly old news: Yeasayer – “2080″, @ bottom of the hill
This is probably old news to you. In fact, my iTunes is telling me that it’s old news to me, but I didn’t know that.
I had this Yeasayer (NSFW. myspace) track from when I got it in July, probably from gorilla v bear, but I must not have listened to it, or not much at least because when someone pointed it out last week, it sounded totally new. This must happen to you occasionally, doesn’t it?
Anyway “2080″ is a track redeemed by its chorus, which is catchy as it seemingly continues to ring in your head moments or even minutes after you hear it. The whole song, in fact, has a sort of ring to it.
