As I said yesterday:

some of the more ridiculous and amazing shows I’ve been to have been by the Mountain Goats. Lead man John Darnielle controls an audience like no one else and with hundreds of songs at his disposal, the shows are always different and fun.

Tickets are sold out for the Mountain Goats’ Thursday (10/23) show at the Independent, but they’re still available for Friday’s show at the Fillmore. And I have a pair of tickets to give away to a lucky ipickmynose reader.
