I acknowledged recently that I knew I was making a mistake when I didn’t include the Lightning Bug Situation’s A Leaf; A Stream in my best of 2007 list. I just hadn’t had enough time with it yet; it’s a great album.

Great albums come back and present themselves to you again and again. Something a friend is going through brought this gorgeous song to mind. Brian Miller of LBS can sound good singing nonsense but here the lyrics, vocals, piano and strings all work toward the same mood.
